Jordyn Washington is a former graduate from the University of Memphis. She obtained a degree in Public Relations. Before attending UofM, Washington attended Mississippi State University, where she majored in Fashion Merchandising
Washington switched her focus to Public Relations because she wanted to combine both her love of fashion with communication. Her love for the fashion industry started at the age of 8, when she began modeling for Colors Agency. Since then, Jordyn has appeared in multiple commercials and magazines.
In the year of 2019 , Washington welcomed her first born son into the world. This caused a temporary pause in Washington’s modeling career, but with her determination and drive, she will be behind the camera very soon.After welcoming her son in November of 2019, Washington sought out to create her own line of women’s shapewear. She was able to officially launch her company Silhouette Shapewear on September 27th in the year of 2020. With the help of her talented PR professors, Washington has been able to properly learn how to build her business’s brand.
Along with modeling, public relations, and entrepreneurship, Jordyn is also interested in health and beauty. She has hopes of branching off from public relations to begin her own business within the fashion and beauty industry.
